Membership categories include:
- Registered Facilitator membership, which is open to any International Biocentric Foundation (IBF) Biodanza professional who has graduated from any of the worldwide network of Biodanza Sistema Rolando Toro (Biodanza SRT) schools and has a connection with the UK. £50, or £40 for over 60s and teachers with a medical condition or disability.
- Student in training at any of these schools and with a UK connection. £10
- Student under Supervision, who are licensed to teach and are in the final stages of qualifying. £30
- International Facilitator membership is open to Biodanza SRT teachers living abroad. £30
- Friend of Biodanza Association UK membership is open to those wishing to support Biodanza Association UK and its members. £10

What are the benefits of being a member?
Come and join us to connect with colleagues and people who love Biodanza and be part of a movement supporting each other and spreading Biodanza in the UK.
- You will have access to a website celebrating Biodanza, sharing up-to-date information (newsletters, blogs and research articles) and offering networking opportunities
- For teaching members, your membership includes:
- opportunities to promote yourself, your classes and your events
- you can publish your own profile, photographs, classes and workshops on the Biodanza Association UK website
- you can also publish blogs with any news and interesting information you would like to share
- Teaching members also have access to our private library, which is chock-a-block with supportive resources, including:
- some amazing videos and audio recordings (including some of Rolando Toro)
- photographs and images
- documents (including help in setting up new classes and Monographs that other Facilitators are happy to share)
- We also provide members with ‘Bio Cards‘ to help spread Biodanza
- All members can join awareness campaigns (e.g. Biodanza International Day)
- As a professional body, we maintain the Constitution of our Association and a UK Code of Ethics and Conduct
- As a professional body, we ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the accuracy of communication from members about the System Rolando Toro (SRT) through our media presence, at events and festivals.
If you would like to join us as a Friend of Biodanza, we value your support and your subscription (and any donations), and we include an invitation to dance with us at our Annual Meeting.
We love working with our members together for the common purpose of bringing Biodanza to more and more people.
Membership Requirements
- All members (except Friends of Biodanza Association UK) agree to abide by the Biodanza Association UK Code of Ethics and Conduct
- All teaching members of the Biodanza Association UK are required to have current and valid professional insurance to cover all of their activities.
- It is also a condition of our membership that teaching members have read and understood the Constitution
Biodanza Association UK is a member of People Dancing, the Foundation for Community Dance
Do you need an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate?
A benefit of our being a member of People Dancing is that if you apply for your DBS through us, we can help you get a discount on your Application.
