Why not attend Biodanza in a different location to get know kindred spirit Biodanza participants within a region, country or area different from home? For those with the luxury of the ability to travel, we highly recommended attending these events. They are a time to be open to surprises, to experience diversity and to learn from others. And of course to connect more deeply with humanity.

Biodanza Roots and Rhythms festival – Germany

Roots and Rhythms is grounded in the belief that humans are inherently regenerative. Just as the sun rises and sets, flowers bloom and return to earth, and the tides ebb and flow, we, too, are part of the natural rhythms of life. These same rhythms govern the beating of our hearts, the expansion and contraction of our breath, and the cyclical nature of our bodies.

This festival sounds amazing. Pablo and Ruby say, at its core, regeneration invites us to reconnect with the natural world within and around us. It is about remembering how to live in balance with ourselves and with nature. By embracing reciprocity— we can live in harmony with both our inner rhythms and the world’s natural patterns to transform our lives and the way we relate to each other and the planet. They envision a space for:

Slowing down: Allowing our bodies to ground and land with the earth and each other so that we can become receptive to being nurtured and begin to listen more deeply.
Moving/Being moved: Waking up & inhabiting our vessels/bodies through dance and embodiment practices, becoming more intimate with life and allowing it to guide and ‘move us.’
Relating: Cultivating our relational skills with each other through practices that support our attunement, expression and communication, allowing for more depth and healing through our being together. Creating lasting connections with like-minded individuals committed to regenerative living.
Exploring: Bringing our curiosity to our challenges and what might get in the way of our embodying regeneration.
Honouring: Coming into humility and reverence for life through ceremonies and rituals that return us to our sense of sacredness.

International Conference on Biodanza in clinical situations and for different groups in society

Altair, one of the Directors of the Biodanza School of London, will be one of the presenters at this international conference on ‘social and clinical Biodanza’

Augusto Madalena, International facilitator of Biodanza, says:

“I participated in almost all editions of the International Forum of social and clinical Biodanza and one of the things that enchanted me the most was seeing the friendship born among the participants: colleagues, professors, facilitators, participants, biodancers, which generated profound projects, love and common participation. I believe that the Forum is one of the great Biodanza Encounters capable of generating such strong bonds between people..and one leaves the Forum with the desire to stay there and at the same time motivated to take action for a better world. We are very excited. The 2025 date and location for UK’s most northernly Biodanza festival has been announced!

Biodanza summer retreat, Spain

In 2025, the theme of the retreat is “To Dare and to Care – Courage to Live and Love” at the marvelous paradise of Suryalila Retreat Center, in Spain. The organisers say:

‘The retreat is different from a festival, a congress or vacations with Biodanza. Our retreats are a six days journey, with progressive deepening, where each experience is connected to next, and everyone in the group dances the same experiences. This process a way of really reaching profound experiences, and harmonization, supported by the affective bond bonding the participants.’
